About This Trail

A 3.3-mile loop around Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park, framed by the glacier-carved peaks of Penobscot, Pemetic, and the iconic twin Bubbles. The path features boardwalk sections, stepping stones over small tributaries, and crystal-clear water views. Note that the rugged western shore requires careful footing on uneven terrain.

Getting There

From Bar Harbor, enter Acadia National Park and follow the Park Loop Road to Jordan Pond. Park near the Jordan Pond House; the Jordan Pond Path begins at the south end of the pond.
