About This Trail
A 4-mile loop linking Hamlin Lake, Lost Lake, and wooded shoreline in Ludington State Park, often combined with the Ridge and Island Trails for a 5.5-mile circuit. An extensive boardwalk extends over the lake near Beechwood Campground, giving hikers the feeling of walking on water. Watch for river otters, muskrats, and nesting waterfowl.
