About This Trail

An easy, well-groomed trail through mixed woods leading to Moxie Falls, one of Maine’s tallest waterfalls with a nearly 90-foot vertical plunge into a rocky pool below. Wooden observation platforms offer multiple vantage points of the cascade. Best visited in spring for peak water volume or autumn for vibrant foliage framing the falls.

Getting There

From Route 201 in The Forks, turn onto Lake Moxie Road at the bridge over the Kennebec River. Drive 1.8 miles and the trailhead parking area will be on your left.
