About This Trail

Easy one-mile wooded trail at Cacapon Resort State Park following the base of Piney Ridge through oaks, maples, pines, and flowering dogwood. Mountain laurel and blueberry shrubs line the path at elevations between 950 and 1,100 feet. Accessible from across the street from the park lodge in Morgan County’s Eastern Panhandle.

Getting There

From Berkeley Springs, take US-522 south about 7 miles. Turn right to Cacapon Resort State Park on WV-522. The Piney Ridge Trail begins between Cabins 21 and 22, or across from the lodge.
