About This Trail
A unique section of the Appalachian Trail crossing the Pochuck Valley on an extensive boardwalk and suspension bridge over wetlands and meadows. The half-mile boardwalk and 110-foot bridge were built by volunteers to keep hikers above the flood-prone valley floor. A flat, scenic stretch offering a rare marsh-level AT experience.
