About This Trail
This 1.4-mile interpretive path offers the closest ground-level views of Trap Pond’s ancient bald cypress stands, where trees can reach 150 feet tall and live over 600 years. Short and flat with interpretive signage explaining cypress ecology, the trail provides an accessible introduction to this unique swamp ecosystem without requiring a kayak or canoe.
