About This Trail
This 2.8-mile moderate connector links Trap Pond’s lakeshore sections to interior forest trails, passing through the transition zone between the cypress-lined pond edge and upland pine-oak woodland. The route provides varied perspectives of the 90-acre pond, from reflective open-water views to dense swamp-forest canopy along the well-blazed gravel path.
