Challenging 5-mile loop in Cacapon Resort State Park climbing over 1,200 feet to the ridge of Cacapon Mountain, the highest peak in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle. Steep blue-blazed ascent with no switchbacks rewards hikers with panoramic mountain views before descending through rocky woodland.
