About This Trail

This roughly one-mile trail near Rangeley follows a mountain brook through the forest, crossing it several times over rocks before arriving at Angel Falls, a stunning 90-foot plunge waterfall and one of Maine’s tallest. The cascade fans out in the shape of an angel’s wing, and the rocky scramble to reach it builds anticipation through a series of smaller cascades along the way.
