About This Trail
An easy 1-mile trail to Smalls Falls, a 54-foot multi-tier waterfall on the Sandy River featuring a 25-foot segmented plunge, a 12-foot slide, and deep swimming pools between cascades. Located at a roadside rest area on Route 4 near Rangeley, with picnic tables and quick access making it one of Maine’s most accessible waterfall hikes.
