About This Trail

A 3.5-mile round-trip hike that starts gently and steepens to a bare granite summit with a 30-foot observation tower offering 360-degree views. On clear days, look out over Rangeley Lake, Mooselookmeguntic Lake, Saddleback Mountain, and as far as the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Getting There

From Oquossoc, follow ME Route 4 west about a mile past its intersection with Route 17. Turn left onto Bald Mountain Road and continue 0.5 miles. The signed trailhead parking is on the left.
