About This Trail

The longest route in Calvert Cliffs State Park at 5.8 miles with 475 feet of elevation gain through coastal woodland to the fossil-rich beach. Combines well with the Red Trail for a 4.8-mile loop past freshwater marshland and tidal wetlands to the Chesapeake Bay shoreline.

Getting There

From Prince Frederick, take Route 2/4 south approximately 14 miles. Exit onto H.G. Trueman Road to the Calvert Cliffs State Park entrance at 10540 H.G. Trueman Road, Lusby. The Orange Trail starts from the main parking area.
