About This Trail

A 3.8-mile woodland trail leading to a sandy Chesapeake Bay beach where over 600 species of Miocene-era fossils lie embedded in the cliffs. Shark teeth and ancient scallop shells can be sifted from the sand, making this a top family destination on Maryland’s western shore.
