About This Trail
A 1.4-mile trail along the Sturgeon River to Canyon Falls, where water plunges nearly 30 feet over smooth black rock into a dramatic box canyon dubbed the Grand Canyon of the U.P. The exposed rock formations and narrow gorge walls create a striking geological display. An easy to moderate hike with river viewpoints throughout.
