About This Trail

A 1.9-mile trail to Hungarian Falls, where Dover Creek plunges over three separate waterfalls through steep wooded ravines on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Owned by the Keweenaw Land Trust, this 10-acre preserve is open to the public year-round. A moderately challenging climb with rewarding multi-drop cascade views in a lush forested gorge setting.

Getting There

From Houghton, take M-26 west toward Lake Linden. In Tamarack City, turn north onto 6th Street. Take the left fork onto Golf Course Road and drive 0.5 miles to the trailhead access on your left.
