About This Trail
A 3.1-mile steady climb through northwoods terrain to the summit of Silver Mountain in Baraga County, offering elevated views across the forested ridgelines of Michigan’s western Upper Peninsula. The trail gains significant elevation through mixed hardwood and hemlock forest. Part of the broader trail network connecting to the North Country Trail.
