About This Trail

A 7.3-mile loop through the Caribou-Speckled Mountain Wilderness featuring streams, the 25-foot Kees Falls, and extensive open summit ledges with 360-degree views. The circuit over Caribou Mountain’s 2,850-foot summit takes in the Presidential Range, Carter Range, and Cold River Valley.

Getting There

From Gilead, take ME-113 south 4.8 miles to the Caribou/Mud Brook trailhead parking on the left side of the road. The trail climbs through the White Mountain National Forest to the summit.
