About This Trail

A rugged 5.4-mile ascent via the Fire Warden Trail to Mount Abraham’s 4,050-foot summit, home to Maine’s second-largest alpine zone. The exposed ridgeline extends 4.5 miles with 360-degree panoramas across the High Peaks region, and the rocky terrain above treeline supports rare alpine vegetation typically found much farther north.
