About This Trail
A 3.2-mile circuit around Hopewell Lake in French Creek State Park, passing through mixed oak-hickory forest and crossing feeder streams on this gentle Chester County loop. The 68-acre lake offers filtered shoreline views through hemlock and birch trees. Located within the largest contiguous block of forest in southeastern Pennsylvania at over 7,700 combined acres.
