About This Trail

Shoreline hiking along 3,225-acre Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park, with broad views across this glacially carved landscape in Butler County. The trail passes through forests, grassy meadows, and wetland edges teeming with waterfowl. Part of the park’s 29+ mile trail network that includes a segment of the North Country National Scenic Trail.

Getting There

From I-79, take Route 422 east and exit at the South Shore exit for Moraine State Park. Continue to 225 Pleasant Valley Road, Portersville. The Lake Trail follows the shore of Lake Arthur.
