About This Trail

A steep 3.2-mile round-trip climb to the 3,187-foot summit of Mount Blue in western Maine’s Mount Blue State Park. A former fire warden’s cabin offers a rest stop midway, and the summit observation tower provides 360-degree views stretching to Mount Washington on clear days.

Getting There

From Weld village, take Center Hill Road past the park headquarters for 3 miles to a fork. Bear right onto Mount Blue Road and continue 2.5 miles to the end where the trailhead and parking are located.
