About This Trail

This 4.2-mile open dike trail at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge follows elevated levees through broad salt marsh habitat along the western Delaware Bay, offering unobstructed views of wetland expanses. The flat wheelchair-accessible route with an observation platform is one of the refuge’s best birding locations, attracting herons, egrets, and migrating waterfowl year-round.
