About This Trail
The longest trail on Presque Isle, this flat route traverses the spine of the peninsula through diverse ecosystems including dune grasslands, old-growth cottonwood forest, and freshwater marshes. Views alternate between Lake Erie’s open water and the sheltered bay. Presque Isle’s unique geology as a recurved sand spit creates habitat found nowhere else in Pennsylvania.
