About This Trail
This 1.3-mile trail in Trough Creek State Park visits Balanced Rock, a massive boulder perched improbably on a cliff ledge above the gorge, then continues to Raven Rock with views of Raystown Lake. The route rises and falls through forested hillsides in a scenic gorge carved by Great Trough Creek through Terrace Mountain. Rainbow Falls and Copperas Rock formations add to the geologic interest nearby.
