About This Trail
A steep 1-mile descent drops from the eastern rim of Pine Creek Gorge into the canyon floor, losing over 800 feet of elevation past a series of cascading waterfalls. The well-developed trail uses stone steps and switchbacks through hemlock forest at Leonard Harrison State Park. At the bottom, hikers can connect to the Pine Creek Rail Trail along the gorge floor.
